Allison Godley

Physiotherapist

I am a Nova Scotian turned BCite. I moved out for the mountains and outdoor sports. I am an outdoor enthusiast and I enjoy mountain biking (downhill and cross country), skate skiing, snowboarding, and trail running. I love the Okanagan because each season brings a new sport.

My specialty is manual therapy and using the Integrated Systems Model to figure out the root of a problem. I use that to ease discomfort and improve sports performance.

My goal is to ensure that my clientele can enjoy all that the Okanagan has to offer, whether walking the Rail Trail with grandkids or keeping up to their friends on a trail at Silverstar.

Arlana Taylor

Physiotherapist

I am a Vancouverite turned Vernonite after moving to the Okanagan with my husband in 2007.  Even though I was active in trail running and skiing while living in Vancouver, I became even more passionate for these outdoor pursuits since moving to Vernon.

I love being able to go out with my dogs and be in the mountains or forest within minutes to hike, trail run, or mountain bike.  In the winter months my favourite activities are cross-country and downhill skiing. Most of my downhill skiing is with my husband who bombs around on a sit ski.

I have been practicing physiotherapy for some time now so I have a variety of treatment options to offer my clients.  I often use a combination of manual therapy, dry needling (IMS and Acupuncture), and targeted exercise prescription (along with other soft tissue and manual techniques).  I have a special interest in treating tendonopathies as well as doing vestibular rehab.

I believe that longevity in sport/activity (and life in general) can be achieved by identifying compensatory movement strategies and strength deficits early so that pain doesn’t become the barrier to participating and enjoying life.

My goal is to help my clients stay in “their game”, whatever that game may be.

Erin Woitzik
Chiropractor and Kinesiology Coach

I came to the Okanagan Valley in search of a healthy, adventurous, and joy-filled lifestyle. I believe our days should be filled with exploration through movement and connection to nature. I enjoy biking, running, skiing, paddling and making the most of our seasonal sports while enjoying the views.

My passion in sports and performance lead me to a career in manual therapy, where my goal is to work together with clients to alleviate pain and dysfunction, and empower continuous growth through movement and self-discovery.

Logan Grundy

Acupuncturist

My interest in Chinese medicine started for me when I was 10 years old, I had a very weak immune system and western medicine had thrown everything it had at me with little success. A family friend suggested we go see her Acupuncturist. After about 2 years of slow progression, I was no longer getting sick and had a strong immune system. At such a young age I had no idea how this would impact me later in life. I grew up playing sports and having a general interest in sports, performance, and health but never saw myself becoming a healthcare practitioner.

Next thing I knew I was graduating from the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in 2017 as a Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner.
Part of which included my final practicum in Kunming and Chengdu China. What an eye-opening experience it was to observe 50-100 cases a day under renowned doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Since then I have followed my true passion and continued to educate myself in orthopedic and sports acupuncture. This includes studying under some of the most prominent names in North America educating myself around movement, fascial lines, trigger and motor points, and the benefits of using electro-acupuncture to regulate the nervous system and muscles surrounding areas of pain and dysfunction.

I have been a registered TCM.P., R.Ac. in good standings with the CTCMA in British Columbia since 2019.

I am here to help you in whatever capacity I can, I will meet you where you are at and get you back to living life to its fullest.

Asha Gadoury

Registered Massage Therapy

I am excited to join the team at Habitat Health and to offer my passion for Massage Therapy to the community.

I love connecting to the nervous system through techniques that are as relaxing as they are therapeutic. I find Myofascial Release is a great tool for creating more space in the body, for the healthy movement and function of muscles, nerves, vessels and viscera. Other techniques I use include Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point Release, Neuromuscular Therapy and Joint Mobilization. I will always work with you to find a treatment plan that best fits your needs.

I also have an interest in becoming trauma-informed and have committed to continued education in the field of trauma and its effects on the nervous system and general health and wellbeing.

I was born and raised on the West Coast, and have explored many modalities of healing, and always found that regular Massage Therapy gave me the most . I love to provide other humans with a space to just ‘be’, helping to guide the body in its own innate ability to heal. Outside of the clinic, one can typically find me toiling in the garden, crafting in the kitchen, getting out on the water or navigating a mountainside.
